This is probably the hardest web page I have to put words on. I really just want to say that, I am an artist. It is who I am and
have always been. I have always done some form of art since I can remember. This includes: painting, photography, writing,
sculpting, or music. It is so much a part of me that I can get very crabby when I am not able to do something artistic.
At a young age, I drew parishoners portraits in the margins of the church bulletin. My favorite thing in grade school was
any holiday when I could create artwork, instead of doing math. While I was in Jr. High, I purchased a 35mm camera with my
babysitting money.
People often follow in the family business and art can be considered our family business. My grandmother wrote short
stories in what spare time she had while caring for six children. My grandfather was a trained classical violinist, who loved
to play fiddle and fed his family of six children, during the depression, with a radio show called "Dad DeWitt and the
Pumpkin Huskers." His sons played on it and his daughters sang occasionally. One son was a self-taught musician and
became a very accomplished fiddle and guitar player. My mother has won hundreds of awards for her poetry and is a
painter also.
All that said, I will let my work speak for itself. The links are lined up on the left of the page.
Below are photos of just some of the artists in my family.
