Stepp Cemetery is off the map to the north east and plays a roll in The Moon Tree Brothers. A real, possibly haunted cemetery, inspired a location in The Moon Tree Brothers. To read more about Stepp Cemetery, click here: Link to Stepp Cemetery Investigation
The Moon Trees were an idea that sprung from reading about Astronaut Stuart Roosa, who took tree seeds on his orbits around the moon. As with most of my writing, it starts with a "What if?" Read the full story here: Astronaut Roosa and the Moon Trees
The actual seeds grew perfectly normal, but what if they had gained magical powers from their orbits in space? Read Book one and find out what could happen.
Next on the map is the Acadine Fountain. It will have a place in a future book in the series.
The campfire plays a part in most of the series. The children eat very healthy food almost every day of the month, but once a month they have a bonfire on "Human Foods Night" where tables are spread out, around the campfire usually, with hamburgers and hot dogs, pizza and all the foods they might remember from their lives in the human world.
The eagle tree is our last feature, at this time, on the map. It is a nearly one hundred foot tall tree with an eagle's nest in the top, and that is all I am saying for now. You will just have to read it to find out why Alrick has to climb up into the tree and what happens then.
The land the Moon Trees are on is woodland with rolling hills and gullies.
Within the North wooded area is Gobbler's Rock, which is mentioned quickly in book one, Moon Tree Brothers, but will feature more prominently in book two, Moon Tree Madness. This is another feature based on real phenomena. While, one of the Gobbler's rock trees has fallen down, there are purported to be two others in the area. You can read more about it here:Gobbler's Rock tree falls
