Liam Vilness

My name is Liam, and I am fourteen years old. I'm pretty proud of how strong I am. I built up muscles hauling bales of hay and other farm stuff around. People tell me that I can't sit still and I guess they are right. I like to stay busy.

I love it here in the Moon Tree. Even after classes, there is always stuff that can be done, like chopping wood for all the fire places in the trees.

Did you know that there is a tree for little kids too? I like to go over there and help out. I miss my little sisters and littlest brother but when I get to play hide n seek with all the little kids in the park, it makes me feel better. There's a park, you know, in the middle of the grouping of trees. It's really safe for the little ones because there isn't any way they can get out to get lost.

I am passing my academics with flying colors. I'm doing good with most of the battle classes too, except camouflage. I'm having a little trouble with camouflaging. The teacher was real impressed at first, as I can shift into a lot of animals and stuff but, no matter what I shift into, it's got wings. I was the first worm with wings in the history of the tree.

Oh, and they gave me the neatest thing, when I first got here. They gave me a great kilt to wear for special occasions. There's a kilt pin that holds the material up over my shoulder, and a sporran, that's a bag, that goes around my waist. Then, when they did human's food night and 'gifting piles,' I was able to get a Bodhran. It's a Celtic drum and I am studying now, in my Mystical Music class, how to use it for war, you know, marching and stuff.

And, by the way, I'm a lot happier than I look in this picture. Guess, I was tired, 'cause I normally smile and joke around all the time.
