Survival, during tough times, is about more than a roof over your head and food. Sometimes you just need someone to say, "Keep trying. Life will get better." If anyone knew that, it was the unemployed traveler, with coins in his pocket and the worry that there would not be enough food to feed his family, until he could find work and send money home.

This sign means: "Do Not Give Up"

What does this one mean?

Did you guess what it meant?

I wonder if this is meant to be two circles or a figure '8' for the endless road they traveled to a better life?
